Shiraz Club with Bob MacLean

Friday, 24 February @ 12 noon - $120pp

Barossa legend Bob McLean hits town to host our first Shiraz Club of 2012. Share a yarn, a juicy eye fillet and lashings of McLean Farmgate Shiraz at what has become Brisbane’s longest, Friday lunch.  Bob will tell tales from his amazing 30-year wine career at places like St Halletts, Petaluma and Orlando. He’ll also pull out of his cellar several back-vintage Riesling gems to celebrate the summer of Riesling.

Intimate Marlborough Premium Tasting

Marlborough pioneer Allan Scott hosts an intimate tasting of his single-vineyard premium range and Central Otago Scott Base Pinot Noir. Allan is truly one of the nicest guys in the wine game and actually planted Marlborough’s  first Sauvignon Blanc vines for Montana in the  early 1970s. Be charmed by his stories as you sample six wines, including Blanc De Blancs, Wallops Chardonnay and Hounds Marlborough Pinot Noir. Tasty Barossa plates to share. Book early to nab your spot.

Exclusive Elderton Command Winemaker Dinner

Thursday, 1 March @ 6pm - $120pp

Be the first in Queensland to enjoy Elderton’s pinnacle wine at the launch of the Command 2008, hosted by Elderton winemaker Cameron Ashmead. A stellar line up of seven Elderton wines will be served, matched to three courses from the kitchen of JJ Smith. Wines will include the Eden Riesling,  Eden Chardonnay and the wonderful Ashmead Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, which will also be launched at Bar Barossa.
