Arete Chatterbox Shiraz 2009

  • Region Barossa Valley, SA
  • Type Red
  • Size 750ml
  • Alcohol 14.1%
From the Koonunga and Greenock sub regions of the Barossa comes this Shiraz matured in French Oak. It is a delightfully rich colour that displays magnificent magenta and crimson as you swirl and emits mulberry and vanilla on the nose. The palate is remindful of concentrated red berries and spice, just like the mixture of a good mulberry pie. Great value for a young wine that's drinking excellently right now. -EN

Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
 says:

It’s floral, spicy, meaty and packed with juicy cherries and skins - smells great. Medium to full bodied, mouth filling and vaguely slippery but with dry controlling tannins - it has real presence and shape as well as a high yum factor. Authentic, rugged and pretty all at once. Terrific - value, quality and style all covered here.
