I was extremely interested to taste a "Bordeaux blend" from the Bethany Stables as I found an elegance and restraint in their other red wines that seemed to suggest that this style may well suit them. Upon opening this I felt my suspicions to be quite justified. Cerebral finesse and delicious flavours are combined to produce a serious and tasty wine that will improve over the medium term. -JP

says:Some wines are full of flavour and fun until you swallow them, and then it all dies away too fast, leaving you disappointed. Others are a bit ho-hum until they finish, and then they seem to sing on and on in a way that cannot but impress you. This wine leans to the latter style. Sure, it tastes nicely of blackcurrant and vanilla with the odd nutty, oak-driven note, but I could easily have fallen against its favour until I swallowed – and then, boom, it had me hooked.
