Purple Palate

Varietal Pinot Noir under $20 used to be unheard of, but things have changed. Just look at this little number made by the crew at Daisy Hill. Vibrant dark cherries, cinnamon quills and zippy acidity. Some soft, fine tannins come in at the very end to structure the supple mouth feel. Fresh and clean, this is text book Marlborough Pinot without the hefty price tag. It will enhance a wide range of foods but it’s a really enjoyable drink just by itself -JP
