Rob Gibson is regarded as one of the Barossa’s leading Merlot exponents. This muti-regional blend combines 75% Barossa Valley Merlot, with 10.7% cooler-climate Adelaide Hills Merlot and 14.3% Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon. Lifted aromas of tobacco, dark cherries and plums, lead to complex flavours of dark chocolate (perhaps from the Cabernet) and cherry liqueur. A very nice feat of blending. -JL
