Purple Palate

"Tres Doux" translates as very sweet, and indeed this wine conforms to that description. But that sweetness is cut with lively pineapple and tart orange rind leading to a luscious but balanced dessert wine that works a treat with Panettone bread & butter pudding. Of course, it's more than opulent enough to work as a dessert in itself too. -JP
