Purple Palate

I loved this wine, it’s so bright and rich! The nose is true to form displaying definite cherry cola characters. While the deep plum colour is perfectly balanced by the herbaceous forest floor qualities coming through on the back palate. This wine would be perfect with Coq au Vin, as the mushrooms would perfectly complement the herby minerality of the wine. Moderate alcohol is framed by fine tannins and dark cherries and a little acidity, making it the perfect drop for a warm evening among friends. - CH
