Purple Palate

The Moet NV is a blend of wines from a specific year, with the addition of different reserve wines from earlier years (the precise proportions vary from year to year). This method helps the winemaker to achieve consistent quality and character in the wine. Grapes are sourced from nearly all the different classified vineyards within the Champagne region which helps the wine appear very regional. The nose is delicately vinous, with an initial aroma of both lime and vine blossom. The palate shows predominantly Pinot Noir characteristics including some gentle fruit spices. A light but persistent sparkle in the glass, it is very filling in the mouth. A great accompaniment to freshly grilled fish. - DJ
