Mount Difficulty Roaring Meg Pinot Noir 2010

  • Region Central Otago, NZ
  • Type Red
  • Size 750ml
  • Alcohol 14%
Roaring Meg is Mount Difficulty's entry-level label. Year on year it represents fantastically approachable, yet strictly regional Pinot Noir, displaying all the hallmarks of the frigidly-cold Central Otago region at an attractive price. The rich, red-berry flesh is licked with oak spice, beheld by a frame of darker, aromatic fruits and sweet, lively acidic structure. The strange 2010 vintage produced low yields but enhanced complexity over a long growing season. This is expected to improve over the next five years. -Ed.
