Purple Palate

An unusual style, and completely different from the standard Rockford stable. In saying that though, it’s unique and quite French really. Light in colour, and in palate weight, it’s almost Beaujolais in style, with its earthy, powdered chocolate characters. It still has tannin from the co fermentation of all 3 grape varieties, but its subtle, and I think, a big leap from the first release last year. A great wine with delicate flavours, and great drinking appeal. -DD
