Such brilliant value and drinkability! We are one step down from the top tier Russell Chardonnay and it has a richness and opulence that you would not normally see under $20. The nose is alive with artichoke, green melon, peach and a slight flinty character. The palate explodes with savoury characters of hazelnut and buttered artichoke backed up by a crisp acidity. There is a soft creamy minerality that lingers long and completes the picture. This is a drinking wine. It is excellent value and the complexity stretches far beyond its price tag. -SG
