Purple Palate

A pleasantly restrained expression of the bigger Central Otago style. Sour and sweet plum, cherry, vanillin oak, nutmeg and decaying leaf are all there, on the palate and the nose. With a svelte mouthfeel, its clearly Pinot but quite unique all the same. Orange blossom and mint add even more intrigue and the finish is all sweet and spicy. A seductive wine indeed. -JP
