Stella Bella Skuttlebutt Shiraz Cabernet 2007

  • Region Margaret River, WA
  • Type Red
  • Size 750ml
  • Alcohol 14%
This 2007 Shiraz Cabernet captures the amazing value that Stella Bella can offer in their Skuttlebutt range. It's drinking like a champion right now and will hold for at least another three years. There's a great balance of sweeter black fruits, raspberry and chocolate oak all in a package that retains finesse. Juicy but with good tannin and acid giving it the spine of a higher priced wine. How can they do it for the price? -JP

 says:

Here's an 'elbow tilter' if ever there was one - it's a really appealing wine straight out of the bottle. Juicy but not overripe blackcurrant-like fruit, smoothness and seamless flow. Powdery tannin, a nutty savoury aspect, and lots of charm. A beautiful wine, not least at the price. Enjoy now.
