One of the new, small releases crafted from selected vineyards along Coonawarra’s famous V & A Lane, a straight road that dissects the famed tarra rossa strip. You’ll find a lovely mix of red fruit flavours and chocolate mocha, mingling with spicy oak. The wine spent 20 months in 50% new French oak, 15% new American oak and 35% seasoned American oak. - JL

says:The V&A Lane wines are line-priced with the single vineyard release, bridging the gap between the standard Shiraz and Michael Shiraz, and made in larger amounts. It stood out in the Wynnsday tasting; it is a seriously lovely wine, with silky line and length to the vivid red fruit flavours. The oak (20 months; 50% new French, 15% new American) is already integrated, and does not dominate the fruit.
